Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe
It was blazingly hot in Berlin (up to 34 degrees). The Memorial shadows offered some respite from the heat, but the heat wave heightened the feeling of the place. Not everyone experienced it the same way: kids jumped on the blocks and tourists took selfies. I noticed the lady in the photo perfectly captured the mood of the scorching summer air. — Berlin, Germany
