Žižkov TV Tower
It's been a while since I've taken a photo! This is the Žižkov Tower in Prague, Czech Republic. It's said to be the second ugliest building in the world (second only to the Morris A. Mechanic Theatre in Baltimore). However, living in the area around it, you can't help but love it. It's a symbol that watches over you when you come home from a pub, and sits on the horizon when you're out with your family. Plus, it'll look amazing in 700 years! — Prague, Czech Republic

Starship Kreuzberg Alliance
Our vacation spacecraft has just departed for Berlin and Łeba. We have arrived in Kreuzberg, Berlin, and it's incredible! We probably shouldn't have eaten so much kebap, and it would have been better if it weren't so hot, but so far, it's amazing. — Berlin, Germany

Brutal Angles VII
A look at the passage in Barbican, London. The mood is dark, cold blue, with only a few yellow light spots on the wall, for contrast. Some people are in the distance, looking elsewhere, behind a corner. — Barbican, London, United Kingdom
Guildhall School of Music & Drama (Brutal Angles VI)
A view to a narrow passage in Barbican, with a lady sitting in a window. There are many musical instruments in other windows, and the lady has a music sheet whiteboard behind her. — Barbican, London, United Kingdom
Brutal Angles VIII
A low-angle view of two primary visual elements of the Barbican interior: rough, gray concrete and a vibrant yellow wall. These two worlds meet in the middle of this photo. — Barbican, London, United Kingdom
Brutal Angles IX
A high perspective view to a stairwell in Barbican. A lady with a mobile phone with a bright display walks up the stairs, but otherwise, the scenery is highly geometrical. The lady is not. — Barbican, London, United Kingdom
Brutal Angles X
A man sits on a Barbican sofa surrounded by vibrant orange walls. The full view is relatively minimal, full of geometric shapes. — Barbican, London, United Kingdom
Brutal Angles IV
A look at a – probably – air ventilation system holes. There is a concrete wall with no details except five vertically-aligned capsule-shaped holes with different heights. There are wood grills inside the holes, painted with blue, that have slowly faded away as time passes. — Barbican, London, United Kingdom

The ceiling of the passage Černá růže (Black Rose), Prague
In 1932, the well-known functionalist architect Oldřich Tyl constructed and designed a structure. The inside of the arcade is particularly fascinating, with its glass-concrete ceiling and balcony. — Prague, Czech Republic
The Palace Koruna
A building from the early 20th century located on Wenceslas Square. It was designed by architects Antonín Pfeifer and Matěj Blecha in the art nouveau style, transitioning into cubism. This style is unique worldwide and can only be found in Prague. The building is based on a reinforced concrete skeleton structure, extending two floors underground and four above ground. It features a curved passage with a hall and a prominent corner tower with a crown supported by atlantes. — Prague, Czech Republic

Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe
It was blazingly hot in Berlin, temperatures reaching up to 34 degrees. The Memorial shadows provided some reprieve from the heat, but the atmosphere was more powerful than usual due to the heat wave. Not everyone experienced it in the same way: there were children playing on the blocks and tourists taking selfies. I noticed this lady, who perfectly matched the mood of the scorching summer air. — Berlin, Czech Republic

Early Morning
This was one of the first photos I took when my family and I arrived in San Francisco for the first time. We were exhausted from jet lag, and the kids were up at 2am. The only thing we could do was go to Telegraph Hill and watch the city wake up. Since then, I have had a few chances to experience San Francisco at dawn, but this was the first and most special one. — San Francisco, USA
